The Colonial Defense Fleet established an elite school for the top one percent of its pilots. Its purpose was to teach the lost art of aerial combat and to insure that the handful of men and women who graduated were the best fighter pilots in the colonies. Today, the Fleet calls it Advanced Fighter Weapons School.

The pilots call it:

TOP GUN.

RAVEN TOP GUN RULE: IN PLACE SINCE MARCH 4, 2013- TOP GUN RULE

What is shown here is the distinguished list of pilots who have taken their skills to the ultimate test. Surviving a grueling 8 weeks on Picon and passing the tests nesscarry to be called Top Guns. Not every pilot in the fleet is good enough to be a Top Gun.

You have to pass the test with a 100 percent on the first try in order to be considered to be the best of the best. The list of pilots here have shown the skills necessary to be the best. Are you able to follow in their footsteps? Do you have the skills needed to become one of the elite? Can you become a Top Gun?

***This rule was set in place for the enhancement of ones membership as part of putting a little bit of realism in the character.  In fact, even in real life, the "Distinction" of being a TOP GUN only goes to the ELITE pilots.  But this doesn't mean one can't be a pilot by any means just because you did not earn a TOP GUN status on the Raven because you can be a pilot. Remember, this is all done in the spirit of having fun.

In order to qualify to become a Top Gun pilot, all applicants must get a copy of the Viper Training Manual from their squadron commander. Read over and complete the test at the end of the book. Upon completion of the test, the answers need to be submitted to Admiral Miguel Rivera by electronic communications at this address: cag_vf84@yahoo.com. The Admiral will then grade the test and send the results back to the applicant as quickly as possible. In order to qualify as a Top Gun the applicant must score a 100% on the first try.  Good Luck to all applicants.
