To Whom It May Concern,

I am the former Chief Engineering Officer of Battlestar Aries-BSR 26, one of its founding members, and the former Executive Officer of the 6th Fleet within the Colonial Defense Forces. Presently, I serve as the Commanding Officer of Battlestar Raven-BFC-002, the flagship under the Battlestar Galactica Fan Club (BFC). Additionally, I am honored to hold the positions of President and Owner of the Battlestar Galactica Fan Club.

My affiliation with BFC spans several years, reflecting my enduring passion for both the Original Series (TOS) and the Reimagined Series (RDM) of Battlestar Galactica. While my fondness for the RDM series is more pronounced due to my limited recollection of the TOS series from my youth, my appreciation for both remains steadfast.

A lifelong enthusiast of science fiction, my engagement with conventions and fan clubs began with my membership in BFC and the Colonial Defense Forces (CDF). My inaugural costuming experience occurred at the All- Con Convention in Dallas, Texas, in March 2007, which ignited my passion for this community. However, responsibilities related to family and my military career necessitated a temporary hiatus from active participation.

Having returned to the fandom, I am now committed to contributing positively to BFC and the Colonial Alliance. I firmly believe that constructive involvement, rather than mere criticism, is essential for effectuating meaningful change within any organization. Active participation allows one to voice suggestions for improvement and work towards their realization.

I am known for my direct and candid communication style, coupled with a light-hearted and approachable demeanor. My sense of humor often leads to laughter and camaraderie, fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere.

PS.  I DO NOT LIKE SCIFI DRAMA OR BS.  IF YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE THAT LOVES THEM, DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT DRAGGING ME IN IT OR YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF TOSS OUT OF THE NEAREST AIRLOCK!!!!!! I am an individual that forgives but I don't forget. It is always a hard learned lesson.  And I have been through all that SCIFI DRAMA.  It was not a pleasant experience.  But I was a rookie back then who didn't know any better.  People who take the ficticious rank and or positions, needs to really get a reality check.  They are there ONLY for the enhancement and enjoyment of the members.  Not to be mixed with real life.

 

IF YOU ARE ONE THOSE PEOPLE THAT JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN, THEN PLEASE, BY ALL MEANS, INCLUDE ME IN IT.  I AM ALWAYS FOR NEW IDEAS IN MAKING THINGS FUN. :-)
