Here is the long awaited promotions! As many of you would come to know about me, I do not promote too quickly.  My reasoning behind that is that if one promotes too quickly, there is no room for growth of that individual.  I can only promote up to the rank below my own until such time I get promoted myself.  This is on the Fleet Level. As Vice President, I can techinically promote anybody higher than my own rank.  But that would mixing two hats at the same time.  I have the outmost respect for the position of the BFC Fleet Admiral, who is in charge of promoting people on the Fleet Level.  This is where I have to learn to separate two of the hats I wear as to not abuse the power and authority that comes with that position.  I know there are a lot of people out there that likes to throw their ficticious rank and position.  But I am not one of them.  But mark my word, I will use it to the full extent to when it comes to protecting the Raven Battle Group and her members along with protecting the mother club.  The Raven has come a long way and I will do everything I can to protect its good reputation, good name, the comraderie amongts members, its harmony and the family atmosphere within the group.

Today, I am very proud to announce the following individuals promotions. These individuals promoted today, rightfully earned their next rank because of their current participation, loyalty and integrity to the group and their peers.  We also have three STEP Promotions ( which is rarely given out by me):

STEP PROMOTEES:

Paul Oakley- from Sergeant to Gunnery Sergeant

Steve Tweed- from Lieutenant to Major

Tim Riley-  from Captain -CM-1 to CM-3 ( based on the Cylon Rank Structure provided to me ) 

These three individuals had set themselves apart going above and beyond the call of duty, showing the world what it truely means to be a TRUE BSG fans all on their own with little or no help at all.  Their actions also show the whole world that they did not join the club for just the ficticious rank and position that comes with it but rather they are just here to have fun, meet others that have the same passion as they do, and make friends.

So without further ado, PROMOTEES, your new rank is effective immediately given on this day of the 13th of May 2015.   CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF YOU!!!  Keep leading the way with your great examples as a member of the Battlestar Galactica Fan Club Flagship Chapter!!!
