New Raven OPS Officer

I just want to quickly take my time to make an announcement as I am on my R & R with my family. So far, it has been a sweet homecoming for me after being away and gone for 6-7 months overseas on a TAD.

As you all know, the Battlestar Raven has been looking for the right individual to fill in the Operation Officer position on the Raven. I am the type to promote from within if the right person came along. Even though I had given an opportunity for anyone to apply for the position outside the Raven, I was hoping I would find someone that would stepped up and prove themselves worthy of that position. Someone that personifies INTEGRITY and LOYALTY. After all, the Operation Officer position makes the chosen individual 3rd in command of the Raven Battle Group. Well, someone definitely stepped up to the plate without even knowing he or she did it. No matter where I am at or whatever side of the world I am, I am always watching from the distance. This person consistently have been an active member of the Raven Battle Group since she joined. She also wears multiple hats like myself within the Battlestar Galactica Fan Club and is able to balance her responsibilities. So without further ado, here is the publication of the order after consultation with the Raven Executive Officer :

***ATTENTION TO ORDERS***

By the order of Raven Command and by the authority of the Office of the Commanding Officer of Battlestar Raven, Lieutenant Junior Grade Leslie "Freya" Willis, you are hereby selected to assume the position of Raven Operations Officers aboard Battlestar Raven-BFC 002. You have been selected to the position because of your numerous contribution to Battlestar Raven from the very beginning without fail, for your quick thinking when it is needed and for being such a team player by putting the betterment of the group as a whole including your shipmates without fail. Your selfless actions and accomplishment did not go unnoticed! It is because of this, that you are hereby selected to this position of leadership and responsibility. You will now be joining the ELITE Leadership Circle of the Battlestar Raven Battle Group.

Also, along with your new responsibility comes with your promotion to full Lieutenant, effective immediately on this day of the 11th of February 2017. CONGRATULATIONS to you, the now Lieutenant Leslie "Freya" Willis. May you continue to prosper not only as a contributing member on the Battlestar Raven and the Battlestar Galactica Fan Club, but in the Syfy Community as a whole!
