MAY 2016 PROMOTIONS
By this time, most of you know, I DO NOT promote too quickly. The reason behind that is there is no room for growth after that. Plus, this will allow me to observe and be able to tell, which members are here because they want to be here and be an active member of the group to the best they can, or which members are here because all they care about is just the rank and position. First of all, I will tell you to get a life. I have seeN members rise up to the rank of Commander even Admiral, in such a short period of time but cannot be seen doing the work that is required for that rank and or position. Too many Chiefs and less Indians as the saying goes. These are just ficticious rank and position which is there as a means of enhancing the fun of ones membership in a particular group. I am not going to promote someone that has not contributed anything to the group. There is an old saying that what you put into your membership is what you get out of it. But when I do promote people, I will make a big deal out of it and will ensure they get the recognition they deserve because they earned it.
So, without further ado, here are your promotees. It is effectively immediately on this day of 25 of May 2016.

Step Promotion-
Paul "Iceworm Oakley"- the ONLY one given out due to the high recommendations given by the Raven Marine OIC
The way to be promoted here on the Raven are based on the following ( DO NOT ask me for one for I will tell you to do an about face and don't let the door hit you on your head on the way out ) :
1. Be active to the best that you can ( we all know real life can hinder being active at times )
2. Be a contributing member no matter how little or big makes a difference
3. Be motivated
4. Be respectful to your fellow shipmates
5. MOST IMPORTANTLY - HAVE FUN

Promoted to 1st Sgt. - The ONLY step promotion given out due to the very high recommendations given to me by the Raven Marine OIC. His reasoning behind is very well put and certainly make sense as well. ~Raven Actual

Promoted to Lt. Jg. - This young Raven member is not even old enough to drive in real life as seeing he is only a Sophomore ( correct me if I am wrong ) highschool student. But he is certified Raptor Pilot aboard the Seekers. And one of the finest too. And I know he is not on the media outlet when he is in school and just focusing on his studies.....He is a good student in school by the way everyone. If he gets honors at the last grading period, I think he can earn something from me again :-)
Promoted to Major- This member proves that distance or whatever time zone he is at, it does not stop him from contributing however he can. Diego lives in Spain and the man is all over the internet. His media contribution is greatly appreciated. ~Raven Actual

Promoted to full Lieutenant- Keep up the great job you are doing on the Seekers. Use your media presence now on Facebook to your full advantage. ~Raven Actual
Promoted to Staff Sergeant- MY MINI ME AND MY SHADOW especially in the media outlets! That is all I have to say because that should pretty much speak for why you deserve to be promoted. Plus, the now 1Sgt. Iceworm, recommended you highly through the Raven Marine OIC. He was going to recommend you anyways as well. ~Raven Actual
Promoted to Major - LM-1 - Thank you for always representing the Classic Series and the Classic side of the Raven through your awesome Cylon Command Centurion Costume. You never fail to steal the show at a convention we are all together. Then again, what is to be expected from the man that wore the Cylon suit the longest during G3 without taking it off.... ~Raven Actual
